From AFSTG web site:
It does no harm just this once, the annual AFSTG
stick seminar will hold under the sun and at the
seaside. Take your swinsuit, bath towel and flip-flops,
it will be hot!!!!
This year, the AFSTG offers you to spend two days
in Toulon for some intensive courses with two excellent
musicians, Jo Ruffier des Aimes et Jim Lampi.
Jo Ruffier des Aimes has a nonstandard career :
multi-instrumentalist and arranger of late "Les
Négresses Vertes", he co-created the
funk brass band Tarace Boulba. Now, he’s playing,
writing and recorded the second cd of the band La
Serpent.
Jim Lampi is a well-known Stick veteran. Born in
California now living in London, he’s one
of the most skilled musician on the Chapman Stick.
He’s comfortable with every music with real
pieces of groove thrown in it : jazz, latin, blues...
all about groove music! (www.lampimedia.com)
