Controtempo Megabass Factory Association, in association with Comune di Erice, presents first edition of EnjoyStick-Chapman Stick® Meeting, that will be held in Erice, near Trapani, from may 28th to june 3rd 2012.
The design of this learning holiday comes from the common will of the organizers and local authorities to promote the knowledge of a very special and unique musical instrument, the Chapman Stick, and to enhance the land and cultural initiatives in the province of Trapani, a territory of unquestionable prestige . We want to create an event where all music lovers, especially of Chapman Stick, can learn, share experiences and knowledge; we want to give people new to this musical instrument and that has never experienced the feeling of playing it, the opportunity to experience a fascinating and intense musical instrument, still not widespread.

Educational Courses and Workshops of EnjoyStick Meeting will be held in Erice historical town, handled by Stick players of international fame: Greg Howard (USA), Andrè Pelat (France), Guillermo Cides (Argentina/Spain), Andrea Atreio Marcucci (Italy). Performances are also scheduled with international Stick players: Jacky Mouvillat & Anaka (France), Linda Cushma (USA), EuriSticks (Italy).
